My therapy services are $350 per 1 hour. Payment is due at the end of each session. I offer discounted pricing for multiple hours. I do provide financial scholarships for individuals in situations of financial need. My scholarships will subsidize up to 40% of the cost of therapy. Please inquire about taking advantage of my financial scholarship during our initial consultation if this is a concern for you.
I do not accept insurance directly. However, you may still be able to use your benefits. I am an out-of-network provider as a licensed marriage and family therapist. You must pay me our negotiated private practice rate and I will provide you with a superbill. A superbill contains all the information necessary for you to submit a claim with your insurance company for reimbursement of services. They will reimburse you at their contracted rate and/or per your member agreement with them. I do not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for services and my services are fee-for-service.
I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Additionally HSA and FSA's are accepted as well.
The no surprises act of January 1st, 2022 requires that I give you a good faith estimate on the cost of therapy. Most people stay with me, on average, for 6 to 20 sessions. Some stay more, some stay less. This number does not include reimbursement by insurance companies and can vary depending on your level of scholarship and time in therapy!
Therapy is ultimately an investment in yourself and improving your situation. While I have opted out of the traditional mental health reimbursement marketplace, I do not want the cost of therapy to prevent you from having access to services with a provider of your choice. Please talk to me about any financial concerns you have.
