The morning alarm goes off, and we get that dreadful pit in our stomach.
“Time for another workday.”
The thought quickly looms over our heads, and we can’t help but think of everything we don’t want to do over the next 8 hours.
The feeling is anxious, and with our eyes half asleep, a part of us imagines how easier life would be to just disconnect from the world and do our own thing – no work, no boss, no virtual meetings, complete bliss. But unfortunately, the day calls us to be “responsible adults”.
Things are rushed yet again. We quickly jump out of bed after hitting the snooze button

Make a quick and “not so healthy” breakfast. Put on a decent work shirt to look semi-professional and power on the computer, fearful of the impending list of emails that awaits us.
And hold our breath for the very first meeting
If we had it our way, we’d jump back into bed, dive into our favorite videogame, or whatever we’re in the mood for (but that’s a dream for another time).
Fast forward to the end of the workday, and somehow, we managed to make it through – but just barely. It felt scattered, messy, and disorganized - only to remember that we need to do it all over again tomorrow, the day after that, and the day after that.
